Krampus Christmas Ornament
A mysterious and striking Christmas ornament in the shape of a green Krampus, richly detailed and beautifully hand-painted by hand. With its horns, wild fur, devilish grin and shimmering accents, this ornament instantly brings the atmosphere of ancient Alpine legends and winter folklore to the Christmas tree.
Krampus is a legendary figure from Central European winter traditions and has appeared for centuries in stories surrounding Saint Nicholas. While Saint Nicholas rewards well-behaved children, Krampus is said to frighten those who have misbehaved. Despite his fearsome appearance, Krampus has become a beloved folkloric character featured in winter markets, parades and nostalgic holiday decorations. The unusual green colour gives this ornament an even more whimsical and fairy-tale-like appearance.
Each ornament is mouth-blown from glass and entirely hand-painted by hand, finished with delicate glitter details that beautifully reflect the warm glow of Christmas lights. Thanks to the traditional craftsmanship, every Krampus ornament is slightly unique and full of character.
